Lymphatic Massage | $75
By encouraging lymph flow and removing waste products, this gentle form of bodywork can help restore immune function and improve vitality. It is also very effective at reducing swelling following surgery or injuries, including sports injuries.
This session features light, rhythmic strokes in the direction of lymphatic flow and includes about 10-15 minutes of quiet rest time alone on the table after the massage is completed, for a total session time of 60 minutes.
A great option for boosting the immune system when the seasons change! Give your immune system a boost prior to the cold and flu season, or promote optimal immune function after a long winter season.
This massage is also effective for many people who suffer from autoimmune disorders such as fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, as well as chronic pain disorders such as arthritis and MS.
Kinesio Tape Application | $10
As a stand-alone service or add on to any session.
A flexible, light-weight tape is applied to help injured and painful tissue heal more quickly through increasing blood flow and decreasing pain and edema. On average, applications last 3-5 days, providing 24 hour treatment and ideally, shorter recovery time.
Reiki
A treatment involving transfer of universal energy through the hands of the practitioner. The goal of a session is to remove any blockages of energy and promote overall harmony through out the body. Reiki can be helpful in aiding relaxation, assisting the body's natural healing process, and developing emotional, spiritual and mental well-being.
45 minutes | $50
Additional Treatments:
Can be included with any Customized Massage with no additional charge.
Therapeutic Cupping
Cups are incorporated into the treatment session to treat pain & tightness through negative pressure, which provides decompression of myofascial structures. Increased circulation of blood and lymph, activation of the immune system and stimulation of muscle fibers result in a reduction of pain. Cups are moved around as well as placed and left stationary. This technique does not use fire, as some traditional techniques do. It is normal to experience some temporary discoloration of the skin in the areas treated with the cups, which generally fades in 5-7 days.
Not available/recommended for pregnant clients.
Gua Sha
A traditional Eastern Medicine technique that uses a ceramic or metal tool
held in your therapist's hand to glide across the surface of the skin,
providing anti-inflammatory and immune system responses. Helpful
in providing relief to tight muscles and fascia and promoting healing
in stagnant tissues.
Takes 5-10 minutes and is incorporated into your session.
